Fresh Express is a premium seafood service operated by Glycem Food Products.

At Fresh Express, we take pride in delivering the highest quality “First Sort” seafood from the Nagai Harbor. Because our products are fresh and perishable, our policy is designed to be fair and transparent.

1. The Nature of Our Products

Fresh fish is a perishable item. Unlike electronics or clothing, seafood cannot be “returned” once it has been handed over, as it cannot be resold or restocked due to health and safety regulations.

2. Eligibility for Refund or Replacement

We will offer a Full Refund or Replacement in the following cases:

  • Damaged Packaging: If the vacuum seal is broken at the time of pickup.
  • Quality Issues: If the fish is not fresh or has an unusual odor upon immediate inspection at the pickup point.
  • Incorrect Order: If you received a different variety of fish than what you ordered.
  • Shortage: If the weight of the cleaned fish is significantly lower than the promised weight (after accounting for standard cleaning wastage).

3. Reporting a Problem

To be eligible for a refund, you must report the issue within 2 hours of pickup.

  • How to report: Send a photo/video of the product and the label to our WhatsApp Support: +91 9500645251.
  • Verification: Our team will review the claim and provide a resolution within 24 hours.

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

We cannot offer refunds in the following situations:

  • Late Pickup: If you fail to collect your order from the Express Pickup Point within the designated time slot, resulting in a loss of freshness.
  • Taste Preference: Personal taste preference (e.g., “I didn’t like the flavor of this specific fish”) does not qualify for a refund.
  • Improper Storage: If the fish is spoiled due to being kept outside the refrigerator after pickup.

5. Refund Process

  • If your refund is approved, it will be processed within 3-5 business days.
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method (UPI, Card, or Bank Account).
  • In some cases, we may offer Store Credit (Fresh Express Wallet) which you can use for your next purchase instantly.

6. Order Cancellation

Once the boat has arrived and the fish is being cleaned/packed (Early Morning), orders cannot be cancelled as they are custom-prepared for you.

Cancellations are only accepted before 08:00 PM on the day you place your order (the night before delivery).
